ISLSSL World Congress in Rome, 17-20 September 2024

The XXIII World Congress of the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law (ISLSSL) on the broad topic “Work In A Changing World: the Quest For Labour Rights and Social Justice”  will take place in Rome on 17-20 September 2024 in the Auditorium “Parco della musica”.

The world has changed significantly in the time passed since the last ISLSSL World Congress held in Turin in 2018. Covid, wars and political crises suffered by different countries had a strong impact on the world of work. Digitalization and globalization are the factors which still reshape regulations and challenge the social justice all over the world. The ISLSSL World Congress sets the objective to discuss those trends, share the results of the research or practical experience, to establish and
develop the research networks, to spread information about the research initiatives, books or journals.

Working languages in the plenary sessions: English, French, Spanish – with simultaneous translation.

The working language in the parallel sessions: English (or Spanish in the comparative law panels, with the slides in English), parallel sessions will be organized without translation.
